Corona restrictions at FAU (extract):

https://www.fau.eu/corona/hygiene-guidelines/ (full restrictions)

Obligation to wear a face mask
A face mask that covers the mouth and nose must be worn on university grounds, in communal areas and access routes in university buildings and when entering and leaving rooms. Masks must also be worn in offices whenever there is more than one person in the room.

Masks must be worn the whole time during face-to-face teaching sessions, by students and lecturers alike, even once you are seated, and even if you are still able to keep a distance of 1.5 metres.

Until further notice, masks must also be worn the entire time during examinations. If you are unable to wear a mask during an examination for medical reasons, you must clarify this in advance with the person responsible for organising the examination.

Recording contact details
Contact details can be recorded digitally using Darfichrein.de, but it is of course also possible to give them in writing.

Instructions on how to do so are available here:

Digital recording: https://www.fau.eu/corona/hygiene-guidelines/#digitale-kontaktdatenerfassung
Manual recording: https://www.fau.eu/corona/hygiene-guidelines#collapse_12

Anyone attending a face-to-face session who cannot or does not want to scan a QR code will be given a form to enter their contact details by hand. You need to enter the following data: last name, first name, telephone number (alternatively your complete address or e-mail address), location, room (if applicable seat or table number) and when you attended (date and time).

All forms must be kept in a sealed envelope. After the session, the envelope will be marked with the date, time, place and room number of the relevant session. The envelope will be destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations after four weeks. The analogue data will only be forwarded to the health authorities in the event that one of the participants tests positive for Covid-19 and contacts have to be traced.

The session coordinator (generally the lecturer) is responsible for ensuring that everyone who wants to enter their contact details by hand is given the relevant form.
