GS EAM Workshop “Theory of Inventive Problem Solving”

Course for members of GS EAM and member RTGs

The Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) is a framework of tools for the analysis (technological) problems and the development of innovative and impactful solutions. TRIZ helps to identify the root causes of a problem in general, which are often on the level of contradicting physical parameters. On the next level, principles to resolve fundamental contradictions are applied to yield real solutions instead of compromises. In this workshop the basics of function modelling for problem analysis and the most simple, but already very impactful inventive techniques provided by TRIZ are introduced.
