DECAM Dresden-Erlangen Campus for Advanced Materials
DECAM exploits the highly complementary scientific expertise and infrastructure and simultaneously facilitates the scientific collaboration and networking in the field of the development and characterization of advanced materials
For a sustainable bundling for our complementary expertise and instrumentation platforms, we currently develop the Dresden-Erlangen Campus for Advanced Materials (DECAM) as a common research and training platform. The joint campus was established with the FAU-TUD joint RTG 2861. It involves instrumentation for the mutual access to the technology platforms of both universities, teaching for mutual recognition of courses at the PhD level and events: organization of joint training events, workshops and summer schools.
